Scott Baugh is an attorney in Newport Beach, California. He specializes in helping clients interface with local, state and federal governments. Mr. Baugh also serves as the Sr. VP of Law and Government at Strathspey Crown, LLC. In 1995, Mr. Baugh was elected to the California State Assembly. In 1999, Mr. Baugh was elected as the Assembly Republican Leader. In 2004, Mr. Baugh was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Orange County and served as Chairman for 11 years from 2004 -2015, where he raised over twenty million dollars for Republican candidates.
Mr. Baugh served on the presidential campaigns of President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, Governor Mitt Romney, and Senator Marco Rubio. Mr. Baugh is also the founding Chairman of the OC Marathon that operates a marathon, a half marathon, several 5k’s and a “Kid’s Run.” The Kids Run has over 10,000 participants from Orange County grammar schools and is designed to fight obesity by teaching children the importance of exercise and nutrition. Mr. Baugh also serves as Chairman of the Gang Reduction Intervention Program that works with law enforcement throughout the county to keep kids out of gangs. And, Mr. Baugh serves as a trustee at Pacifica Christian High School of Orange County, where their mission is to teach high school students how to think and live well.
Mr. Baugh is a 28-year resident of Huntington Beach where he lives with his wife Wendy and son Jackson.
